I am a Registered Careers Adviser, with a BA Hons and a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and have worked as a Careers Adviser for 30 years (20+ years in the Cambridge area) in a wide range of educational settings, including Further Eduation Colleges, Secondary Schools, Independent Schools, 6th Forms, and with private clients.  Having worked extensively with young people making their post 16/18 choices and with adult students/career changers/international students, the lack of independent and impartial careers advice in schools and colleges today led me to set up Career Focus Cambridge in 2016.  The addition of Morrisby Profile accreditation enables me to offer an enhanced service of psychometric analysis alongside 1:1 careers guidance.  I also work as an Assessor on career guidance qualifications, supporting the training and development of new advisers.  Working as an Independent Careers Adviser in a variety of schools throughout East Anglia enables me to keep up to date with developments in education, training and employment.
